Terminal Identification

The PAX Aries 8 device includes two distinct terminal identification markers for easy reference. The part number is prominently displayed in the bottom left-hand corner on the back of the Smart Tablet terminal, ensuring quick identification of the specific model. Additionally, the serial number, a 10-digit code where the first three digits denote the model type, is conveniently located on the left side at the back of the device, offering detailed traceability and model verification. For eg: Part Number: A8-12345 & Serial Number: 1234567890 (where the first three digits, "123," represent the model number).

• Power ON or OFF: Press and hold the power button on the right top for 3 seconds until the screen powers ON, similarly do the same thing & select the power off option.
• Indicator for charging: The red indicator means the tablet is charging, and the green indicator shows that charging is completed.
• SIM/ PSAM: The device features two card slots and one tray designed for SIM and PSAM card insertion. Both a microSD card and a SIM card can be accommodated simultaneously in the first tray. The second slot can accommodate either a SIM card or a PSAM card, while the third slot is dedicated solely to a PSAM card.
• Privacy Shield: It offers two types of optional privacy shields: low privacy shields and high privacy shields. These are designed based on the user’s need to protect the tablet’s keypad, ensuring the right level of security and privacy during use.
